Does Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Display Connection or Power Level Status

Question:

What should be on the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 controller display while driving? It is currently only showing “.c.”which we know means Boost is engaged and indeed it is engaged at the lowest level. However, we thought the P2 would display the current Power Level while driving, which we believe we have set to 6.0 by following the instructions that came with the controller. Shouldn’t the unit be displaying “6.0”? We aren’t sure that the controller is working properly and we don’t want to wait for an emergency to find out.

Your P2 part # 90885 is fine and is showing what it is supposed to be showing. It is designed to show the connection status and boost status and not the power level so you're fine.
