Will the Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack Work for a Gazelle Medeo T10+ HMB E-Bike or What Rack Will

Question:

Hello. Interested in a trailer hitch for my ebike Gazelle Medeo T10+ HMB has a front fender that is pretty short, and doesnt really go all the way across the top of the front tire. When you say, Note: May interfere with bikes with front fenders....what does may mean? Would the Yakima StageTwo rack work with a Medeo that has a pretty short from fender...or does the clamp arm need to be all the way against the front fork? Thanks!

The Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack # Y67VR will not work with bikes that have fenders like your Gazelle Medeo. Per Yakima bikes with fenders will need the fenders removed for proper and safe loading.

Since your Gazelle Medeo T10+ HMB is not a step-thru style, you are going to be better off with a frame mount style like the Saris Freedom Bike Rack # SA4412B. This rack has a 60 lb. per bike capacity which fits your Medeo. It also has wheel trays and straps to secure the wheels and a cradle to attach to the downtube or top of the bike frame, removing the fenders from the equation.

I could not find the tire width for your Medeo. If the tire width is over 2.25" then you will want the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Fat Bikes # SA4412B-FB which has all of the same features, but can handle tires up to 5" wide.
