Troubleshooting Trailer Tail Lights Both Blinking When Using Turn Signals
Question:
I wired my utility trailer ground wire directly to each tail light. The ground is connected to each of the four studs of the two tail lights. I intermittently have issues when the signal light is on, both trailer lights blink. The vehicle wiring is good. I bought it from you. Any ideas? I can send pictures if thats helpful.

It sounds like somehow the Brake/Turn signal lights are shorting together. If you have a typical 4-way wiring this would be the yellow and green wires. I have linked one our our help articles below which further discusses the wiring of trailer tail lights.
Sometimes different manufacturers use different color wiring so if you have wiring of different colors you will want to use a Test Light # PTW2993 to verify the functions from your vehicle wiring.
