Can The Gasket For An Advent Air Rooftop AC Unit Be Readjusted
Question:
Can advent acrg15 roof gasket be readjusted if over torqued during installation?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The gasket for the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner # ACM135 is just made of foam so it should expand back to its normal shape when you loosen the mounting bolts. If it didn't or it started to tear off of the bottom of the unit then you would want to fully remove it and replace it with another like the Valterra Foam Weather Stripping for RV Air Conditioners # A10-1414 to avoid water from leaking in through a compromised seal.
