Can A 50 Amp RV Surge Protector Be Used At A Campsite With Only 30 Amp Service  

Question:

i have a 50 amp cord for my motorhome with a 50amp surge protector.some camp grounds we go to only have 30 amp hook ups. Can i put my 50 amp plug reducer on and still us my use my 50 amp surge protector?
