Tip for Removing Adhesive of RV Tank Heating Pad to Install New One
Question:
i have a defective black Tank heater pad. i wish to replace it with a Thermaheat pad 18 x 12. can someone suggest how to remove the defective one ? Not easy !

In order to remove the old adhesive you might find it easier to heat the glue first with like a blow dryer and then try a combination of scraping or products such as rubber alcohol. Once gone, you can then apply the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad part # 277-000164. It's best to remove as much excess glue as possibly so the unit can attach securely and preform as intended.
