What Adapter Kit is Needed to Use a Rhino-Rack Kayak Roof Rack w/ Surco Crossbars

which kit below will work BETTER for my SURCO crossbars + kayak, if using one of the RHINO S510 or S512? *Requires adapter KC-FK8 - sold separately to mount on Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty crossbars *Requires adapter KC-FK10 - sold separately to mount on square crossbars

If you are wanting to use the Rhino-Rack Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs # S510 (fixed) or # S512 (folding), you will need to use the Crossbar Adapters for Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carriers # KC-FK8.

The KC-FK10 is actually no longer available and adapted the racks to go around the crossbars. The # KC-FK8 will adapt the kayak carriers to mount in the channels of your crossbars.
