Could RockyMounts Backstage Fit Ram Promaster withtout Extension

Does this rack require an extension when used on a Promaster 3500?

The RockyMouonts Bike Rack part # RKY10002 has a distance of 9-1/2 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest portion of the rack that is upright. So if you measure from the pin hole of your Promaster 3500 out 9-1/2 inches and that's out further than the rear of your vehicle the rack would fit and clear. I would be shocked if this didn't end up working for you and instead would require an extension.
