Can the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts for Boat Trailer Rollers Be Cut Down to Size
Question:
I need to replace the 4 inch roller and end caps on my boat. My overall width is 7 inches. The only 1/2 road with end keepers you have is 12 inches. Is it fine to cut rod to length?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts for Boat Trailer Rollers # CE10705A (12-3/4" x 1/2") can be cut down to the size that you are needing.
You just want to be cautious that you make clean straight cuts, so the pal nuts will still attach to the roller shaft.
