I recommend using the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET with your 6,900lb trailer having 674lbs of tongue weight. This system is rated for trailers up to 10,000lbs with 600-1,000lbs of tongue weight. It includes a 2-5/16" hitch ball.
The Equal-i-zer is the big brother to the Fastway e2 # FA92-00-1000 you found. The Equal-i-zer is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty while the e2 only has a 10-year warranty. You will also need to get a 2-5/16" Ball # EQ91-00-6100 to add to the e2 hitch.
