Will The Hughes 30Amp Male Connector Fit Inside The Storage Hatch For Electrical Cord On Campers?
Question:
Will this fit in the opening on the camper?

I have found the Mighty Cord Replacement Pigtail # A10-30PMVP to be the best option when replacing a power cable end on a camper using a Hatch # A10-2140VP to store the cable. The replacement ends like the Hughes # HU93FR you found are too large to fit in the small storage area.
Personally the best thing you can do is eliminate this type of cord all together by installing the Power Inlet # A10-30INVP in its place. This helps to seal one of the holes which insects and moisture can easily get in. You will then be able to use a Cord # A10-3025ED90 to connect your camper and will no longer have to fuss with pushing and pulling the electrical cable in and out of the small hatch door hole. You can also use the left over cord you do have to make an extension using the Male # HU93FR and Female # A10-R30VP connectors.
