Recommended Inverter Charger for a 1969 Pathfinder Camper
Question:
Hi my wife and I rebuilt a 1969 Pathfinder camper and are at the point of adding electrical power. We dont need to run a lot of items mini fridge, portable ac unit, microwave, stereo and some led lights. The total wattage for all the items is about 2550. Im looking at one of your breaker/fuse panel inverters but dont know which one will cover my needs. Ill have a small bank of 12v batteries for when were not connected to shore power and all items were running will be on AC power so Ill need something that charges the batteries when power is connected and then inverts the power from DC to AC when power is not connected. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe what you're looking for is the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger # 34275013.
This is a 3 in 1 unit that combines a pure sine wave inverter, converter charger, and automatic transfer switch all in one to save space and make installation easier by limiting the amount of components you'd need to install.
This unit is rated for 12V battery systems, has a running output of 3,000 watts which will be plenty for your trailer, has a built-in transfer switch which automatically changes from inverter to shore power when you're hooked up at a campground, and has LED indicators which show the inverter's status and any fault conditions.
