Why Would Solar Controller Hooked up with Go Power 3000 Watt Inverter Cause Over Charge Error
Question:
i have a 3000 watt gopower invertor charger with 3 110 AH LI batteries. and a Renogy Rover 40 amp MPPT solar controller. Im hooked up to power and get a over current protection error which shuts is off. I turn off solar controller and works fine. Can though not both be providing charge?

Are you possibly hooking up the solar charger in series instead of in parallel which is attempting to put a charge of a way too high voltage? The Go Power 3000 Watt inverter charger part # 34275013 was designed to work with solar panel charger controllers and is covered in the attached install instructions so it makes me think the issue is the way the solar controller is wired to the batteries.
