Will The Spare Tire Bike Rack For a Jeep Wrangler Allow For Bikes with 3" Wide Tires?

Will the Yakima and Thule 2 bike racks for Jeep wrangler tire mount accept 3” big bike tires

Both the Thule Spare Me # TH963PRO and Yakima SpareRide # Y02599 are capable of carrying bikes with 3" tires. The Thule does have a higher weight capacity of 37.5lbs per bike while the Yakima is rated for 35lbs per bike. Personally I feel the Yakima is a much better looking rack.
