Can this item be drilled? Backing Plate for Single Axle Trailer Fender - Steel - 30 Long x 12 Tall - HP42FR

Yes, you can drill into the Backing Plate # HP42FR. The backing plate itself is not strong enough to support the weight of the Fender # HP48VR so you must make sure you attach the fender itself to your trailer or have Mounting Brackets # CE26098G-2 to attach the fender.
