Info Needed to Pick Out Ball Mount to Tow Rack and Roll Yakima Trailer
Question:
Hi- Im hoping you can inform me what I need to buy. I need to connect a 2020 Chevy Traverse High Country AWD w/towing package to a Yakima Rack and roll trailer. The rack and roll trailer manual says the top of the ball needs to be 22 off the ground for level operation. Can you tell me what I need for the Traverse to reach that height? Also, are airbags useful in this setup? I had them in my Sienna but this is clearly quite different. Thanks in advance!

I don't know the height of your current hitch so I am not sure the exact rise/drop you will need but if you check out the attached help article you will see how you can determine what you would need.
The Rack and Roll trailers like the part # Y08107 are light enough that you would not need suspension enhancement. The height from the bottom of the trailer coupler down to the ground is 22 inches which you'll need to use when calculating how much rise/drop you need.
