Troubleshooting A Curt BetterWeigh That Isnt Providing Targets For Weight Distribution Hitch Setup
Question:
I was going through the weight distribution set up on my ford expedition and travel trailer and the app showed a green target bar for front but did not show a green target bar for the rear or trailer.

I spoke with Curt and was told to not even bother using the weigh distribution setup application of the BetterWeigh Mobile Tongue Weight and Payload Scale for OBD II # C51701 since it's not usually the most accurate and to just follow the instructions for the weight distribution hitch instead. That's obviously not the kind of support I would hope for from the manufacturer so I recommend recalibrating your system to see if that gives you new target bars in-app. If not, then you would need to just follow the instructions for the weight distribution hitch and just use the BetterWeigh as a tongue weight scale to make your installation of the hitch more accurate.
