Does Charge Line Kit for Flat Towing Have to Be Connected to Alternator with 13.5 DC
Question:
Regarding Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles. Does the charge line have to come from an alternator fed source of 13.5vdc or can I feed it a 12vdc source? Thank you

The instructions for the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 call for the power connection to be made at a 12V power source. So while it doesn't say you HAVE to connect to the battery bank running off of your alternator, you will want to be connected to a battery bank that is able to charge so you don't drain it completely.
