Can a 6k and 7k Brake Assembly be Used on Same Axle

Question:

I was sold 7k brake assembly for the left side and 6ks for the right is it going to cause issues or will it be alright

It's not going to be ideal but it technically will fit and function to some extent normally. You'll get uneven brake application to at least a small degree since the difference between the two capacity assemblies is the magnet sensitivity.

I would go back to having the same capacity assembly on both sides like the Dexter part # 23-105 which is a 6k assembly for the left hand side. For the right hand side you'd want the part # 23-106.
