Recommended Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapter for a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Question:
Can a reese goose neck fit/work on a rockwood model 2883? We are to pick up this unit Monday and dealer is telling us it wont. Help. Thanks

If I'm understanding you right, it sounds like you have a Reese Gooseneck setup in your truck and you're trying to tow your brand new Rockwood 5th wheel.
If that's what's going on, the dealer is correct you can't tow a 5th wheel with a gooseneck hitch without using an adapter. I recommend going with the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G.
What this is going to do is bolt to your new 5th wheel's pin box and provide a receiving end for a standard gooseneck ball. If you're talking about something else, please let me know and we'll see what we can work out.
