Can a 5th Wheel Hitch in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Be Used in a 2019 Ram 3500

I have a 2022 chev 3500 and I was wanting to know if the fifth wheel hitch would in to a 2019 dodge 3500. If not what rails for the in would I need for the dodge in order to use my existing hitch

That really depends on the 5th wheel hitch that you have and what set-up is in your Silverado and the Ram.

If you have a Silverado with no OEM prep package (puck system) and you are using a hitch with industry standard rails, then you would need industry standard rails like the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Ram # C16430-204 in the Ram to use the hitch.

If you have the OEM prep package in either the Silverado or Ram, you will either need a replacement base or an adapter depending on which has the package or even both. If this is the case, I will need to know exactly what 5th wheel hitch that you have, in order to recommend the correct parts needed. I will also need to know whether the Ram has a prep package or not.

Long story short, you can use your current 5th wheel hitch in the Ram, it is just a matter of what other part(s) are needed.
