What you're going to need to do is first add a 4 pole wiring harness with the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236.
From here, you can add your 7 way with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
Finally, you can add a brake controller. I recommend going with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR. These brake controllers are pretty cool because they're out of the way, leaving only a control knob exposed when installed, and can handle up to 3 axles.
If you wanted as well, you could also add the Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-002 if you have space in your Mini.
