Does Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II Have Torque Specs for Installation

Question:

In the video for installing the Blue Ox Stabilizer the tech uses a torque wrench to tighten, what are the ft/lbs he uses or would you recommend? Thank You

The instructions for the Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II # BX88224 just call for you to "tighten the whiz nuts firmly." so there isn't really a recommended torque setting to use and I honestly have no idea why Randy used a torque wrench for the installation.

According to my research, 31 ft-lbs is the standard for tightening a 3/8"-16 hex nut which can be easily achieved without the torque wrench. So basically snug it up tight by hand with a regular wrench and you'll be good to go.
