How Level Does the Roadmaster Anti Sway Bar Need to be For Installation?
Question:
ETrailer Experts, Installing your RM-1139-145: The installation instructions talk about the choice of hole configuration 3 holes on the shackles that allows the sway bar to ride as level as possible. When I use the bottom hole, as demonstrated in your installation video, the bar is slightly off level, but when I change it and use the middle hole, I am slightly off level the opposite direction although the lower hole seems just a bit more level than the middle. Is this a critical measurement?... Which hole should I use when its a tossup like this? The motorhome is on a level surface but empty of everything but fuel no water or sewage in tanks, no people or supplies. As always, thank you for your help...

It's not overly critical no, ideally you'd want your Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-145 to be as level as possible so if the lower hole is the closest to level then that would be the one you need to use. There are also two holes in the frame bracket hangar that can be used for additional adjustments if need be.
I've included the optimal angle for install for you to reference as well.
