Can I Run 185/80-13 Trailer Tire at Reduced Pressure?

I’m towing a pop up trailer with Carlisle st 185/8013 radial trail tires load range D Should I fill them with the Max 65psi or 50psi

In most instances, trailer tires should be fully inflated to the pressure rating listed on the tire sidewall. Goodyear is the one trailer tire manufacturer I'm aware of that load tests their tires at different pressure ratings. I checked out Carlisle's website, and it appears that they only load test at the full pressure, so that's where you'll want to run your tires.
Running at a reduced pressure would mean that you have an unknown load rating which could be dangerous.
Hope that helps!
