Which Fuse(s) Need To Be Pulled To Flat Tow A 2011 Chevy Equinox

Question:

Have a 2011 Equinox, I have the fuse by-pass kit #76517. From my understanding of the other QandAs mainly a 2012 model answer. I use this on under hood fuse #16 and leave passenger compartment fuse #32 in place. I will be also installing a battery charging kit as well. Let me know if Im correct.

Per Roadmaster/GM Technical Service Bulletin 17-NA-348 "GM has identified 4-cylinder models of this vehicle as having steering instability issues while towing. If you have a 4-cylinder model of this vehicle, you will need a # RM-76517 instead of a # RM76511, and will need to leave fuse DLIS 32 intact and pull the ABS module fuse located under the hood. Note: due to manufacturing variances, some 4-cylinder models may label the ABS module fuse as 15 or 16".

If you have a 4-cylinder model you'll want to remove the ABS fuse (15 or 16 depending on the specific vehicle) and use part number # RM76511 instead of the # RM-76517. They also state a charge line # RM-156-25 is required as well.
