Recommended Heavy Bike Rack for 2 Large Cruiser Bikes That Is Easy to Load

I have 2 large womens cruiser bikeswould hollywood destination bike rack work or should i invest in a hollywood racks trail ride? Want something that is easy to lock my bikes in for highway travel and do not want to have to lift heavy bikes high

It would depend on how heavy your bikes truly are, but off the bat the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # HLY94FR should be out due to it's capacity. This rack only has a maximum carrying capacity of 35-lbs per bike or 70-lbs total which are pretty normal sized bike weights.

If your bikes are any bit large, they're probably going to be heavier than 35-lbs. If they're not this rack would be fine to use and hangs pretty low as it is so you wouldn't have have to move your bikes far.

The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z you mention would likely be better suited for heavier bikes as it has an increased capacity of 45-lbs per bike which is getting into heavier bike territory.

Between the two the Trail Rider is your best bet, however my recommendation would be to spend a bit more but get a much better rack like the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202.

This rack has a much beefier capacity at 65-lbs per bike, has an integrated ramp for easy loading and off-loading of bikes, and can be completely folded to a briefcase shape when not in use.
