Why Would Powered A-Frame Jack Motor Turn But Not Raise or Lower
Question:
My electric jack has power and the motor turns. It even turns manually... BUT the foot does not move up or down. How do I fix that?

Your Stromberg Carlson A-Frame Jack part # JET-2500 basically has an internal problem that can't be fixed. The screw or nut has basically broken away from the motor assembly and while the motor is turning it's not turning the screw to raise or lower the jack.
For a replacement jack that's very reliable and really fast we have the Phoenix part # UF38-944040 if you were wanting to go with something a little nicer. It can extend or retract 6 inches in less than 10 seconds with 1,000 lbs of tongue weight.
