The best way to prevent trailer sway is properly loading your trailer. The tongue weight should be 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight. I'm not sure where you're at with the 4 wheeler loaded at the front, but it would be worth checking and could make a difference.

The other thing you can do is add a weight distribution hitch with sway control. You want to choose a WDH based on your loaded tongue weight. This includes the weight of anything behind the rear axle in your truck, like possibly some of those tools. The best way to find this is with a scale like the # e99044.

The # RP66559 you looked at would be a good choice with 4-points of sway control. This is designed for 500-1,000 lbs of tongue weight. If you fall into that tongue weight range this will work for you. If not, I would be happy to help you find the right system if you can let me know what your tongue weight is.
