Replacement Brake Assemblies for Dexter 5,500 lb Torflex Axle
Question:
Is this the correct brake replacement for a 5500# #11 Dexter Torflex Axle? I currently have the nevr-adjust brakes and they are not working as well as they used to. Also, is it best to just replace the whole assembly or just do the pads?

Since you have self adjusting brakes on your Torflex 5,500 lb axle the correct replacement would be the part # 23-458-459. It's almost always best to replace entire assemblies and not just the pads as the pads end up costing quite a bit, are much harder to install, and you don't end up with new magnets at same time which do wear out as well.
