Solution for Grease Fitting of MORryde CE3000 that Won't Let Grease Pass Through
Question:
Moryde CE3000 wet bolts will not take grease. I get a hard handle on the gun. Estimate these to be 3 years old. Yes, first time attempting to grease these but minimal mileage over the past 3 years 2000 mi. Is this unusual? Can I remove and clean the wet bolts or do they need replacement?

Expert Reply:
Clogged grease fittings are a relatively common problem. Sometimes a heat gun can help. Use the lowest setting to get it warmed up and that can free it up. There are also solvents that you can inject into the fitting using your grease gun which will free it up as well. We do not carry them.
