Replacement Leaf Spring Option For a 2011 Continental Model A2150B Boat Trailer
Question:
Hi, I have a 2011 Continental boat trailer model A2150B, 4 wheel, 6000 lb. gross capacity. The leaf springs are in bad shape so it is hard to get an accurate measurement. With the load taken off of one tire the leaf spring measures between 19 to19 1/2, eye to eye, but they are old and very rusted. Can you advise me what trailer leaf spring size I should buy please, thank you.

The 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # SP-072275 appear to be the closest springs we have which may work on your 2011 Continental model A2150B boat trailer. This spring is rated for 1,650lbs each or 6,600lbs for all 4 springs which is slightly higher than the 6,000lbs GVWR your trailer has. The spring has a center eye to center eye length of 18-5/16". This could be your same size depending on how much sag your springs have. A better way to more accurately measure your springs is by measuring the spring along the radius of the spring. This spring is 10-1/8" long from the center of eye bolt hole to the center of the spring pack along the radius. So when completely flat it could be as long as 20-1/4" from center of eye to center of eye.
