Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 8,500 lbs Trailer
Question:
Hi towing a 8500 pounds 35 RV trailer about 1100 pounds tongue weight with a F150 2022 Lariat 3,5L Ecoboost and Max Tow package LT Tires. What kind of weight distribution systems andf/or suspension add do you suggest?

I think you're better off using a weight distribution system over suspension enhancement for your 2022 Ford F-150. Not only will it adjust any sagging issues you're experiencing but it will give you sway control when you're towing your trailer. Some suspension upgrades negatively affect the comfort of your truck's suspension when you are not towing by stiffening it up.
Tongue weight is typically 10% - 15% of the trailer's total weight. This gives your 8,500 lbs trailer a tongue weight range of 850 lbs - 1,275 lbs. With this in mind, I recommend the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control item # BLU27FR. This system will work with trailers that have up to a 1,300 lbs tongue weight but will not be over capacity for your trailer if the tongue weight is 1,100 lbs.
The Blue Ox item # BLU27FR has built in sway control that will keep your trailer in line with your F-150 when you make sudden moves or get passed by a semi going down the highway. This system includes a 2" shank and a 2-5/16" hitch ball.
