Parts Needed To Power Interior Lights On an Enclosed Cargo Trailer
Question:
I want to be able to power my Charmacs interior lights that came with the trailer by installing a separate battery in a tool box on the tongue of the trailer. Once the battery is mounted in the tool box I will put a solar panel on top of the tool box lid with battery connectors that came with it to keep the battery maintained. Then I want to connect this battery to the trailers stock wiring so that when I unhook my truck with the 7 pin I can then use the power from the battery in the tool box. My trailer came with a 7 pin connector, a breakaway battery, and there is a j box on the front tongue. My question is where do I run the wires from the battery to the trailer to make the lights work? Do I need anything more to do this?

It looks like you already have everything you need to complete this mission. The only thing left to do would be to drill a hole or find an existing wire path into your trailer from the battery box and run the wiring to your lights.
The last thing you'll want to make sure you have is some silicone # 0160297 to seal the holes and keep water out.
