Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack Will Not Retract Even After New Switch

Question:

My lippert power jack did not extend or retract at first I swapped out the switch but now it only retracts I do not hear the motor coming on when I’m hitting extend so I’m guessing I have a short somewhere I’ve checked the wiring and can’t seem to find one anywhere my question is could it be a bad motor? I also saw a response on this website were someone said it could be the battery would this still be the case if my RV is hooked up to power via a 30 amp electrical plug?

It won't be the battery in your case, and since you have already swapped out the switch, and can't find a short, a bad motor is certainly the most likely culprit. So to replace the motor on your Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC369774 or # LC298707 you need the following part:

- Replacement Electric RV Stabilizer Jack Motor # LC352338
