How To Get A 5-pole Trailer Wire Harness For A 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Do you carry a 5 pin flat wiring harness for a 2019 Jeep grand Cherokee? I only see 4 pin flat and my trailer needs 5 pin to activate the surge brake release in reverse.

To connect to the 5-pole connector on your trailer you would to install a 4-pole wire harness first and then use an adapter to get the reverse light signal for your surge brake override. For a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee you would want to use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118727. This wiring harness has plug-in connectors for easy installation and will allow you to then plug-in an adapter like the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57187.

The blue wire on the # C57187 will splice into the reverse light circuit in either of your tail lights and has a bullet connector so that you can remove the 4-pole to 5-pole adapter if you need to connect to a 4-pole connector instead.
