Why Won't My Advent Air Distribution Box Force Air Through My Ducted System
Question:
I have a ACM 150 WITH AGR15. My unit is ducted. I have not been able to get air thru the front ducts. I am lost as to what to do.

The Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACRG15 that you have isn't designed for use with ducted systems because there's no shutter to block the airflow from coming out of the main vent of the air distribution box # ACRG15 to force air out through the ducts.
The only way to force it through the ducts would be to put in a piece of form to divert the air into the ducts, which would cut off airflow from the main vent. You can cover the main vent for with some foam weather seal strips or multipurpose foam sheets from your local hardware store to force air through the ducts instead. Some foams are bit porous so they'll still allow a bit of airflow through so that you can get a little bit through the main vent and the majority of through the ducts.
The only other option would be to replace with the air distribution box with another brand that is designed to work with ducts, but we haven't tested any that we currently offer with an Advent unit to ensure compatibility yet.
