Is it Possible to Run A/C and Fridge on Solar Power
Question:
I want to upgrade my onboard solar system on my Rockeoog 19fbs Geo pro do I can run my ac unit and frig. Rv is under a cover so roof top mount is not possibleHow big a solar unit and batteries do I need?

Running your A/C solely on solar is not recommended. Getting enough power for the A/C is impractical even if you have roof mounted panels, and the cost would be outrageous. I recommend using the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller - 200 Watt Solar Panel # 34282610 for your fridge and then a generator # 333-0005 can handle your A/C.
The Go Power Portable Solar Panel has a max output of 11.43 amps in peak conditions. Assuming that is 6 hours per day you could get about 68 amps for the day. I'm not sure what the power draw on your fridge is but the average is 2.5 amps so that would be 60 amps per day which would be enough. I also recommend adding a second battery if you don't already have one.
