Will Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter Work with Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck
Question:
Will this Demco hitch work with surface mount gooseneck balls like this model? Draw-Tite 6300 I have a 2015 Silverado 2500HD that has this hitch in the bed and looking or a 5th wheel option for it, thinking it may be the DM8550045 but wanting clarity.

The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550046 is for recessed applications which the Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch is not so you'd instead simply want to go with the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # DM8550045 which is just the standard version of the one above. Please note, you may need to remove the safety chain u-bolts from the hitch if there are any clearance issues.
