Troubleshooting Battery Draining With Bright Way Solar Battery Charger Installed
Question:
Hi I recently bought 2 of the 7.5watt brightway solar battery chargers and one of them works on a dump trailer, the other one is on a gooseneck trailer and does not seem to charge but instead almost drains the battery. Could this be because it needs a different size panel?

The Bright Way Solar Battery Charger # BRW54FR would not be able to drain the battery on your gooseneck trailer. Something else must be draining the battery while it is hooked up. This is designed to trickle charge and keep your battery topped off. If something else is pulling power, it will outpace any charging from the solar panel and might appear as though this is draining the battery.
