Recommended W/D System for Towing John Deere Backhoe w/ 2014 Ford F-250
Question:
Hi 2014 Ford F250 6.2L V8 GAS. Pulling a tandem hydraulic tilt and load trailer. 20foot long. The trailers axles are rated for 7ton. I use it to pull my john deere backhoe. Any suggestions of what to buy when looking for a weight distribution system?

In order to recommend a system for you, I would need to know the Total Tongue Weight of the trailer. The TTW includes the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of the trailer PLUS the weight of anything stowed in the truck bed behind the back truck axle. I have linked you to an article that shows how to determine your TTW.
For maximum sway control performance, I recommend the Strait-Line system which combines excellent weight distribution performance with second-to-none sway control. For the same effective range of 400-800 lbs, the # RP66083 would be an excellent choice. Both the system you mentioned and this system include the weight distributing shank, but the proper trailer ball (most likely a 2-5/16 size) like part # 19286 is sold separately.
If you would care to reply with the TTW of your trailer, I would be happy to make a more specific recommendation for you.
