How to Determine the Correct Replacement Brakes and Bearings for a Jayco Jayfeather
Question:
Looking at replacing my wheel bearings and breaks on my twin axel Jayco Jayfeather 19H. 13 inch wheels with a 5 hole bolt pattern.i can add photos with axel numbers.3,650 dry weight.4,950 GVWR.would like the auto adjust Im thinking what part nombers or breaks are your recommendations. Other than the l obvious, what are the differences between the self adjusting and the other ones?

I'd be happy to help you determine what the correct replacement bearings and brakes are for your Jayco Jayfeather is, however I am going to need a bit more information.
The easiest way to find the correct bearings for your trailer is to remove your current hub and check the part numbers that are stamped on your existing bearings and brakes.
If you're not able to find the part number stamped on your bearings, you're going to need measure your spindle (shown below) to find the correct bearings.
To find the correct brake assemblies if a part number is not present, you can measure the drum's interior diameter and depth and that'll work just as good.
Finally, the biggest difference between self-adjusting brakes like # AKEBRK-35-SA and manual adjusting brakes like # AKEBRK-6 is that self-adjusting brakes have a self-adjusting mechanism that eliminates the need for you to manually adjust them and manual brakes do not have this. Other than that, the brakes will still work the same, if anything it's just a quality of life change.
