Scooter Carrier Recommendation for Use on the Back of a 2013 Leisure RV
Question:
I have a 2014 leisure rv 24 . 2inch receiver tongue weight 500 lbs . my 161 cc scooter weighs 245lbs . can I use the K2TMC201 and if so can it be adjusted off center because most of the weight is in the rear of the scooter

K2 Tilt Down Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carrier # K2TMC201 is not rated for use at the back of an RV or trailer so it is not going to work for you. But we do have a carrier that is rated for RV use, it is # UF48-979033.
Scooters are typically shorter in terms of wheel base compared to motorcycles so you should be able to mount the heavier end of the scooter closer to the center of the carrier which is definitely what you want to do anyway. Also I recommend over securing this set up because you can never be too safe.
Use ratchet straps like # 317-412080 to help support the carrier and secure the scooter.
