How to Find Replacement for Dometic/Sealand Magnum Opus 3110 RV Toilet

Question:

I am needing to replace a Dometic model 3110 RV toilet. I have not been able to find rough in information. Do you know if the Model 320 is a in replacement? Eye balling a tape measure from my wall to the center of the ball valve is unclear if this is a 10” or 11” offset.

Expert Reply:

I wasn't able to find a rough-in for the Dometic/Sealand Magnum Opus 3110 RV Toilet therefore the best option for replacement is removing the base and measuring the distance from the center of the opening to the wall. This is referred to as the rough-in and as along as the toilet you're using to has the same or smaller than the existing you'll be able to use it as a replacement. The Dometic 320 Full-Timer RV Toilet part # DOM87FR for example requires 11" for a rough-in.
