Replacement A/C That is Compatible with a Dometic A/C Distribution Box on a 2012 Palomino Puma TT

looking to replace AC unit for 2012 Palomino Puma RKSS. Any recommendation for unit to replace Dometic currently in travel trailer? Hoping for a unit to plug right in without having to change much.

Since you already have a Dometic A/C unit on your 2012 Palomino Puma and want to change the least amount possible, you would want to go with one of the A/C units that is compatible with your inside of the travel trailer Dometic components (air distribution box and thermostat if separate from the distribution box).

Personally, I like the Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner # FR42PV (white) or # FR32PV (black). I like these because they tend to run quieter than other brands and they also have a built-in start capacitor. The capacitor stores energy that will later be used for the next startup, which is helpful if you are running off of generator power or just don't have as much power as it would normally take to start up your A/C.

These A/C's come with a conversion kit that allows you to use them with your Dometic set-up inside your travel trailer.
