Bike Rack and Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Honda CRV

Question:

I have a 2018 Honda CRV and need a hitch for a bike rack. I like the look of the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 but am concerned about the rack and hitch possibly obscuring the vehicles rear license plate. What would be your recommendation for bike rack and hitch. And thanks in advance.

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 part # SH22P is a really solid choice for a bike rack that I would recommend highly for your 2018 Honda CR-V. It's really well made, easy to use, and lightweight so I think you'll really like it. Bike racks all somewhat obscure the license plate of vehicles but it's really not a problem. Most police officers aren't going to mind unless they happen to see you doing something else they have a problem with. For example I've had a cargo carrier on my Tahoe for years that totally blocks my rear license plate and I've yet to get in trouble for it (knock on wood).

Then for a hitch the Draw Tite part # DT79MR is a great choice for your 2018 Honda CR-V because it's mostly hidden has great towing capacities and installs pretty easy.
