Why Are the Advent Air Replacement RV A/C's for Dometic Setup a Lower Cost Than a Complete Kit
Question:
Why are these 2 roof top air conditioners priced lower. Are they complete units that get ped into place and simply reconnect to old thermostat?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup # ACDOM150 (white) and # ACDOM150B (black) are priced that way because they are not a complete kit. They are just the rooftop A/C unit and a start capacitor.
Since they are only the rooftop unit, you need to already have an existing Dometic set-up inside (air distribution box and thermostat). If you already have that in place, then you can use either of these to replace the rooftop unit of your A/C.
