Measurement of 3,500 lb Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper from Brake Mounting Flange
Question:
How much clearance do i need between the brake flange and the trailer frame? Or, from the brake flange, how far inboard do the caliper and slider pin extend? Ive got maybe 3 inches and tie down g5s fit no problem. the problem is, well, theyre tie downs. Thanks

I went out to the warehouse and measured the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R35DKG and found that the back head of the bolt (the farthest part out) sits about 2-1/2" away from where the brake mounting flange will install so it looks like you'll have about 1/2" of space to work with.
