Question:

To install the P3 brake controller # 90195 in your 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited you are going to need to do a little hardwiring using pig tail # 20127 and installation kit # 5506.
The white wire you will need to connect to the negative battery terminal. Black will go to the positive battery terminal via the circuit breaker included with the installation kit. Red will connect to the cold side of the brake switch.
You will need a circuit tester such as # 3808 to test the wires on the brake switch located above the brake pedal. From what customers have told me it is not all that easy to access. You need to attach the controller red wire to the brake switch wire that only shows power when you step on the brakes and not if you turn on the headlights or turn signals.
And finally, you will need to attach the brake controller blue wire to the back of the 7-Way where the other wires attach in the 7 oclock position.
