Expert Reply:
In order to install a set of steps on a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 like the Carr LD Custom Fit Side Steps part # CARR113331, you'd likely need to remove the rock sliders. The rock sliders are typically mounted to the frame and steps are typically mounted to the rocker panel but it's unlikely there would be clearance for either as they overlap. The Carr LD Custom Fit Side Steps hang down rather low so even if you could mount both, you'd rip them off before anything ever got to the rock sliders. If you're taking the truck off-road frequently then keep the rock sliders but if you don't do much off-roading then you can remove them in light of steps which will help you get in and out of the truck everyday.
